Can anyone attend?
There are two (2) types of CONXUS Events.  Members only - open to CONXUS members and "OPEN" CONXUS Events - open to both members and non-members.

Do I get to see profiles of others in the group when I join?
No. This is not an Internet Dating site. CONXUS is about providing like-minded people a safe environment where they can get to know each other. A photo only presents a very small piece of someone’s persona and Conxus wants you to meet "the person".

Why does CONXUS prepare a profile on my behalf if it is not shared with other members?
CONXUS will keep your profile on file as long as you decide to remain an active member of CONXUS. It is used to assist in guiding you to attend specific events where there are others that have similar interests.

The benefit in attending a CONXUS group event:-

• A Conxus representative will greet you as you arrive and introduce you to the group
• All events are in a relaxed atmosphere
• You get to know someone over a period of time
• Valid identification has been sighted and a file kept on each member of the group
• Each member is interviewed by a CONXUS representative to ensure they are genuine in their intentions
• If you are restricted with time, it provides you with the opportunity of meeting a large number of people in a small timeframe
• You are free to move around the group and interact as you wish – there are no time clocks or structure
• You may arrive when you wish and leave as you wish as this will not disrupt the group interaction

How much does membership with CONXUS cost?

12 months membership is $20.   This is an administratation fee and is renewable each year. 

What are the benefits of being a CONXUS member?

CONXUS members are offered a discount rate when attending "OPEN" CONXUS events. 

CONXUS members are offered "members only" exclusive events, which allow them to get to know members over a period of time and build friendships.  

CONXUS "members only events” provide a secure environment - as each member has provided identification and been interviewed when becoming a member.   

CONXUS members are genuine in their intention to meet new people or find a life partner. 

CONXUS members are required to sign "terms and conditions" when applying for membership. 

CONXUS reserves the right to terminate membership if a person is not behaving in accordance with the "code of conduct" and terms and conditions.  This ensures that all members who attend CONXUS "members only" events can feel confident that other members of CONXUS will treat them appropriately.  

CONXUS members receive access to "restricted areas" i.e. photo gallery and "members only" events.
